Sunday Services

• Our Sunday services in Kirkcaldy are held at 11am and 5.30pm in our building on St Clair Street.

• At 10 am each Sunday, a service is also held in the Kinglassie Community Hall.

• The Dunfermline service is held at 11am at Masterton Primary School.

The Bible is central to our worship. We use it to praise God, to learn more about the character of God and of His amazing mercy and grace towards us shown through His Son Jesus Christ.

We sing from Sing Psalms, a new version of the metrical psalms produced in 2003.

We read from the NIV bible and listen to the preaching of God’s Word. We place a strong emphasis on prayer.

Prayer Meetings and House Groups

On the second and fourth Wednesday of each month, three groups meet in people’s homes. One group meets in Kirkcaldy, one in Dalgety Bay and one in Dunfermline.

On the first, third and sometimes fifth Wednesdays of each month, we meet at our church in St Clair Street, Kirkcaldy for a prayer meeting and bible study.

We welcome visitors to any of our meetings.

Sunday School

During school term time we have Sunday School classes for primary school children during both the Kirkcaldy and Dunfermline morning services. The classes are split according to age. We also have a crèche each Sunday, which welcomes pre-school children.

Kirkcaldy Free Church follows the Child Protection Guidelines laid down by the Free Church of Scotland.

  Christianity Explored
Christianity Explored

Since 2002, we have run three Christianity Explored courses, which gives participants an opportunity to explore Christianity in a friendly and open way. People are encouraged to ask questions about the life, death and resurrection of Jesus and to think about the impact this may have on their lives.

The courses run for 8 to 10 weeks. We usually meet in someone's home and the evening begins with a meal before watching a short video. The group then discuss what they have watched using questions in a study guide and a bible, which are given to each member.

You can find out more from the Christianity Explored website. Please contact us if you would like to participate in a course in future.
